Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Congress

On September 25, 2026, the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. K. Akhunbaev hosted the International Scientific and Practical Congress “An Interdisciplinary Approach to Modern Dentistry: From Diagnosis to Orthodontic Rehabilitation.”

The Congress was attended by A. K. Bektasheva, Head of the Department of Dentistry.
The event was organized by the Dental Association of the Kyrgyz Republic (DAKR) in cooperation with the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. K. Akhunbaev.

The Congress brought together leading specialists in the field of dentistry, as well as representatives of the academic and professional communities. Specialists and guests from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan took part in the event.

The Congress addressed current issues in modern dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment, interdisciplinary approaches to dental care, and contemporary methods of orthodontic rehabilitation.

The participation of representatives of the Department in such scientific and practical events contributes to professional development, the exchange of experience, and the strengthening of cooperation with leading specialists and educational institutions in the region.
