In 1981, he graduated from the Pediatric Faculty of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute. In 1987, he defended his Candidate of Medical Sciences dissertation, and in 2000, his Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation on the medico-social assessment of children’s health in the Kyrgyz Republic. He has many years of experience in research, teaching, clinical practice, and academic management; since April 2025, he has served as Vice-Rector for Academic and Clinical Affairs at the University of South Asia.
