The Department of Fundamental Disciplines provides basic and advanced training for students, forming a solid scientific and theoretical foundation for their further professional development in the field of medicine. The primary goal of the department is to develop systemic clinical thinking and to form the fundamental knowledge and practical skills necessary  for the subsequent mastery of specialized medical disciplines. Educational activities cover a wide range of disciplines in the natural sciences, biomedical,  humanitarian, and social fields, including histology, anatomy, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, medical   biophysics, medical biology, philosophy, medical   law, medical  bioethics, language training, and   other fundamental subjects. Special   attention is paid to the interdisciplinary integration of knowledge, the   development of analytical   thinking, skills for working   with scientific information, and modern digital technologies in medicine. The curriculum includes elective disciplines aimed at expanding the professional competencies of students in the   fields of biostatistics, medical   information technology,   management in medical organizations, biological safety, nanotechnology  in  preventive medicine, and other current areas. Department faculty members continuously  improve educational  programs  and implement innovative teaching methods, ensuring high-quality preparation of students for further clinical training and professional activity.
