Erasmus+ Information Day at the University of South Asia

On October 28, 2026, the University of South Asia hosted an Information Day organized by the Erasmus+ National Office in Kyrgyzstan. During the session, university staff and faculty members learned about opportunities for Kyrgyzstani universities to participate in Erasmus+ programs, including International Credit Mobility, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, and Capacity Building in Higher Education projects.

It was particularly encouraging to learn that younger universities are also welcomed into the Erasmus+ program and can take advantage of opportunities to develop international partnerships, foster academic mobility, and implement joint educational projects. The event generated significant interest; participants asked numerous questions regarding eligibility, the application process, and collaboration with foreign universities, receiving detailed answers and clarifications from Erasmus+ representatives.

We would like to thank the Erasmus+ National Office in Kyrgyzstan for an informative session, an open dialogue, and the opportunity to learn more about the prospects for international cooperation! For staff and faculty members who were unable to attend, the office also shared presentation materials, allowing them to review the information provided. We hope that this meeting will serve as a starting point for new partnerships and the expansion of international opportunities for the University of South Asia.
